Miss Ellison

The brief was: for homework, design a structure to prevent an egg from breaking when dropped from a height of 2 metres.

The result was: lots of weird and wonderful contraptions, lots of fun and lots of unbroken, happy eggs.

The best was: very hard to choose!  There were lots of parachutes, and padded boxes. Jack made an aeroplane from polystyrene.  Charlie's egg was destined for a bowl of jelly.  George chose to cushion his egg with bags of water and flour.
