Welcome to Long Buckby Junior School's website. We are all, staff and children, extremely proud of our school and we hope you enjoy your visit.

Our Ethos

When you join the Long Buckby Junior School family, you’ll find we look after each other: children, staff and parents. As your child develops, their effort, excitement and curiosity is nurtured by the enthusiasm of our staff. We see our role as preparing our pupils to have compassion, confidence, motivation and emotional resilience as they move on to the next stages of their lives. Learning is a continuous process for all of us and, as a school, we never stand still

A Welcome from the Head Teacher

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to visit our school's website.  We are very proud of our school community and would love to welcome you in person to see our ethos in action, however, we are currently unable to do this.  The video below was a parting gift from our Year 6 children before they left last summer and it does give you a flavour of our school.

We are a forward thinking local authority maintained school. The way that we deliver the curriculum is based on our own research which means that we are able to focus our curriculum and leaning methods on what is in the best interests of our children and the communities in which they live.

I look forward to welcoming you to the school in person in the not too distant future.
