Religious Education

At Long Buckby Junior School we see the teaching of Religious Education as key to developing children who understand and enoy the culturally diverse world in which we live. By developing understanding we hope to also encourage a greater tolerance of difference. We follow the principles of the Local Agreed Syllabus but base our teaching closely on the Kapow curriculum for Religious Education. The way that the curriculum allows the children to learn about the different world faiths and continuously make comparisons between them, ensuring they are constantly making links between the various faiths.
